Conduit Hole Cover with Removable Door
thingiverse
Decided to build this frame and door assembly to fit perfectly over a drywall opening in my garage. Created to feed wires through the starting point of a conduit, the opening was designed with future maintenance in mind. Instead of closing it up with drywall and putty, I thought having a removable door would make life easier when servicing the conduit or wires. It may even come in handy if you need to cut your drywall without putting in the effort to patch and sand or don't know how to refinish drywall. Dimensions inside to inside: width is 5.25 inches, height is 8.5 inches. The screw holes are sized to fit drywall screws securely. Eight screws were used to attach two pieces of the frame firmly to the wall.
