Conduit holder for MPCNC build
thingiverse
I created this for adjusting the four tubes for the legs (or two X or Y) to grind them to the exact same length. The STLs are designed for 25mm IE conduit and M4 wingnuts, but I'm including the FreeCAD drawings so you can easily change to whatever needs you have. First, I considered using ducttape, but then I realized that I've got this 3D printer and there must be a way to utilize it effectively. You'll need one center and four ext (sides) for four tubes, or two ext for two tubes. And now I'm thinking, I should have realized earlier - you'll need that per end, so all in all 2 centers and 8 externals are required. Printed without support, 1.5mm walls, .8mm top/bottom, 15% infill. I haven't tried them yet, but I may tweak these values if they start cracking when tightening the nuts. Update: I added a 10cm center part to use as a spacer since the tubes are able to twist a bit. Also printed with 25% infill, no idea if it does any good - nothing has cracked so far. I'm using PLA and a .5 nozzle.
