My trusty Audio-Technica AT2020 condenser microphone was missing one crucial component: a holder for secure attachment to its mic stand. Undaunted, I took matters into my own hands and crafted a custom solution that would fit snugly onto any standard mic stand - including the ones with an inside diameter tapered from 50mm to 52mm. To create this ingenious adapter, I repurposed the other half of an old dynamic mic stand holder, which screws directly onto the stand with ease. I'm pleased to share my creation with fellow sound enthusiasts and DIY masters by providing a downloadable .stl file and the corresponding Solidworks file for your convenience.
