Condensation Water Vent Pipe (Air Condition)
thingiverse
After a thorough renovation of my bathroom, I also tackled the condensation water pipe for the air conditioning unit. Unfortunately, after a sweltering day, the condensation overflowed from the wall box due to excessive buildup. Following some diligent investigations, I discovered that the pipe was experiencing negative pressure or a vacuum. To prevent this issue, I designed and fabricated a custom component. The inlet and outlet of the new design are carefully crafted with minimal conical shapes, allowing for smooth airflow. The original size of the inlet begins at approximately 17.5mm and gradually decreases to around 15mm. Meanwhile, the outlet diameter measures 17mm on the outside. This innovative design should help alleviate any air flow restrictions. By the way, I included a "red flag" in the image to illustrate how air can freely move through the pipe.
