Concrete christmas tree mold with molded in LEDs and Battery box
thingiverse
This is a concrete mold for a christmas tree with molded in LEDs and a battery box. It makes for a great christmas present and the mold is reuseable. For molding: Assemble the whole mold with hanging battery box and use double sided tape and the aligner to place and stick the LED frame to the baseplate. You may need to sand the aligner to let it move easier. Use hotglue to seal every light and the switch and contacts of the batterybox. Tip: Dont screw the screws too tight, or the mold will get small cracks. What you need: -About 600g of concrete per mold -wooden baseplate 14cm X 19cm -sticky foil to make the wood surface very smooth -2x M6 bolts with nuts -small woodscrews for the battery box and holder -7x bigger woodscrews (30mm long, 4mm wide) to hold the mold to the base Electronics: -5x LED with fitting resistors. I used warm white SMD leds with 470Ohm SMD resisors. You can also use THT parts -small toy switches -battery contacts for the battery box. I used this kind: https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B07HRT6PBN/ref=sr_1_30?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=battery+contacts&qid=1606656276&sr=8-30 Have fun while makeing this awesome present.
