Concrete base for speaker or lamp - Molding form

I needed a solid foundation for my speaker stand which I built from a 40cm long 3/4 inch pipe and a matching flange. The dimensions of the base are 18 x 18 x 7 cm, and it will weigh between 3.5 to 4.0 kg depending on the concrete used. I printed the outer mold form from PLA. The inlay works best when printed from TPU, as it's easier to remove but still functional if printed from PLA - albeit a bit more challenging. It's worth noting that the molding form may not withstand the demolding process intact. I've had mixed results so far, having destroyed one set of molds during removal and successfully extracting another without any damage. To avoid complications, remember to lubricate the molding form thoroughly before attempting to remove the mold. This simple step will make all the difference in ensuring a successful outcome.
