Concrete 1" weight plates
thingiverse
This is an insert for making concrete weight plates. This insert ensures contact with the bar will not crack the cement. Just grab some 16" diameter concrete form and cut a strip about 4" tall. Place a sheet of wax paper on a flat surface and secure the edge of the form to the wax paper. The use a small dot of superglue to secure the insert into the middle of the form. Pour concrete into the form until desired weight. Your concrete will absorb about 30% the water weight into its final weight, so ensure you don't add 25 pounds of dry mix for a 25 pound weight.
