Conch Shell

thingiverse jad91 481424 Free

It's a 3D scan of this conch shell that's been sitting on my desk for ages. I decided it'd be a good test subject for a real world object that could be digitized and replicated.
Thanks to the new Digitizer update, I was able to create an accurate scan. After three or four scans in different positions. It picked up the overall shape pretty well, but it had trouble with the inside because it doesn't like shiny things, and because it doesn't like to admit that things can be hollow in some places.
The Conch_Shell_Small.stl is ~30% the size of the lifesize original.
