CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF A HYBRID ELECTRIC DRONE AND COMPRESSED AIR

thingiverse

Conceptual drone design with compressed air. A unique and innovative approach to drone technology! The drone features a centrifugal pump powered by an electric motor, drawing in air and compressing it within a cylinder. This compressed air is then used to propel the drone vertically and horizontally through four nozzles located at the bottom of the device. A removable battery pack provides additional power, while the shape of the drone resembles a flying saucer for improved stability during flight. The drone's wings provide further stability and control during various maneuvers. In case of an emergency landing, two landing gear are located at the bottom of the drone to ensure a safe touchdown. Additionally, the drone is equipped with a high-resolution 3D camera for recording footage, headlights for visibility, powerful speakers for audio alerts or guidance, and hearing aids for capturing sounds from a distance. The entire system is controlled by a central computer that can be operated remotely via GPS. The drone's unique design allows it to hover like a helicopter while flying faster than traditional quadcopter drones. It also boasts an impressive flight range due to its energy production system using flexible photovoltaic cells, and its clean look without dangerous propellers spinning during approach. Named Bumblebee, this conceptual drone design has the potential to revolutionize the drone industry. 3D printing files are available for further analysis and prototyping purposes.
