This is a 3D representation of a vessel showcasing distinct concentric striations resulting from a wire used to detach it from the potter's wheel. Technical Details The 3D model was generated using the David SLS-3 scanner. The original file size measures 1.01GB, boasts a resolution of 0.0181mm (vertex spacing), and comprises 6320993 vertices. To produce a printable model that retains relevant striation details, the base was separated from a decimated model with 790130 vertices, enlarged three times, and converted to an STL file for printing purposes.
