Same principle as my first CSP unit (Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Unit ), but, with much more generated power per panel, due to the increased surface area of 4.26 m2. @ a trough size of 2800mm x1520mm and a focal point of 570mm Which will give a potential generated power of 5.75kW, giving the complete unit almost 70kW of heating power. ( Assuming 1350w/m2 so it may well be less and it could also be more) Note......... these figures are rounded up and down and no losses were taken into consideration. So there we have it the power of the sun eh !!! Next step will be utilising this power to produce heating, cooling and electrical energy.
