Concealed fixing hanger / hook
thingiverse
This is a concealed fixing wall hanger. To secure the bracket to the wall, simply screw it into place using a small counter sunk screw. The base must be positioned correctly with the recess in the square cutout on top facing upwards. Insert the hook into the hole at an angle, slightly downwards as shown in the diagram, and press down firmly until you hear a click. I printed this object at 45% infill with three perimeters and three layers of PLA for both the top and bottom. Increasing the infill should make it stronger, but I haven't tested it yet to see if the hook will still fit properly within the tight tolerances. Testing the hook with a heavy leather jacket revealed no issues, but I would recommend using it for lighter items only. In the future, I plan to add different shape bases when possible. Disclaimer: Please be aware that printing this object is done at your own risk. If anything breaks during use or storage - including the hook, bracket, or any item hung on it - I accept no liability whatsoever.
