This is a sturdy support struct shaped to allow a desktop computer tower to rest on it. It's intended to for use as part of a design to hold the computer off the floor and allow better cooling, especially on carpet. I used it for my friend's "Walker Edison L-Shaped Modern Glass Corner Computer Desk (Model D51B29)" desk, which had the supports too far apart for a mini-tower—meaning it fell through onto the carpet. The design is simple enough to work with any platform made from square tubing. Just scale it up or down as needed. For the desk I was working on, I printed two, but you could do however many you need.

Features:
• Shaped to cradle the PC tower.
• Can be added and removed as needed, without tools or glue.
• Enables mini- and mid-tower PCs to remain level with this desk's design.

Printing Notes:
• Print in PETG.
• Infill ≥ 15%.
• No supports needed.

Installation:
Unscrew all four rubber feet; the Place one end of the strut between the screw hole and the handle. Pivot the other end into place horizontally. This will require some force (to bend the PETG), but I wanted it to be very secure once installed. Repeat for second strut. Screw back in rubber feet. They may need to be set further out than before and should fit snugly against the strut in the case of the D51B29. When finished, the entire assembly should feel solid.

Today I Learned:
The width of a PC tower is determined by that of a optical drive, which is limited by the size of a CD. While hard drives can be used vertically, optical disks are best used horizontally, so (unlike a tower's variable height and depth) the width of computer towers will remain the same as long as optical disks are in common use.
