I created my design using Autodesk Inventor and it is meant to make your online learning experience as easy and organized as possible. With this desk organizer you have everything you need right in front of you. With a place for your laptop on the top and holes for necessary chords, a holder for your phone on the left to ensure you have it with you but it won’t be distracting, a cup holder for your water bottle on the right, holders for your pens and writing utensils on the back, and spaces in the front for your papers labeled “done” and “to do” to keep your papers straightened out and never lost. 1.) Some issues I came up against were trying to fit everything I wanted to include into one organizer that didn’t take up too much space, and making sure the measurements were accurate enough from all different types of laptops, phones, water bottles, etc. 2.) If I could redesign this again I would change the back compartment to something else that was maybe more useful or I would also add a place for your airpods/ headphones. 3.) 3D printing would strengthen my design in that it gives me the opportunity to create prototypes and use trial and error to figure out the most efficient and practical design possible. Also to make sure my measurements are the best they can be to fit everything comfortably.
