The file comes in various formats including 3ds (with simple object, texture-less, but with mapping), dxf (similar to the 3ds format), max (simple object without textures and materials, but with mapping included), obj (again, a simple object without textures and materials, yet with mapping), Scanline *.max (a simple object with textures and materials for 3ds Max 7, including mapping), V-Ray *.max (with textures and shaders), and lastly, *.max (for 3ds Max 7 or higher, with textures and shaders).
