The adapter is designed for a 120 mm fan at the front of the case, occupying three 5.25" drive bays. The fan itself is secured by four M4 screws that are 4 mm in diameter, while the standard M3 screws that come with it measure 3 mm in length, matching those used on the same 5.25" drives. I managed to hold it in place using M3 screws directly on the plastic but found it somewhat fragile. Using a metal mesh grille in front of the fan is highly recommended for stability and durability.
