The IKEA Jerker desk is a great desk to have as a your workbench because it has two support legs that accessories mount to. IKEA does not sell the desk any more but you can find them online pretty easily.

I have an ASUS PN50 as a desktop computer that I use with my printer and a netgear network switch to connect it and a couple of other things (like a Raspberry Pi) to my network. I wanted to get them off the surface of the desk and out of the way but still accessible.

Since the PN50 (and the Intel NUC) computers come with a VESA mount for mounting them on to the back of a monitor, that was an easy target. The trick is making an adapter that uses two 6mm x 40mm bolts to attach to the Jerker leg on one side, and the VESA (or, in the case of the Ethernet switch, the wall mounting holes) to the appropriate pattern.

With this setup my switch and computer are out of the way but still easily accessible.
