In CREO Parametric/Pro-E, a skeleton is a unique Part file type that houses shared geometry between two or more parts, such as outer surface contours, parting lines, and hole locations. This non-solid geometry includes surfaces, planes, curves, axes, etc. A skeleton facilitates Top-Down Design by passing down the necessary geometry through Publish Geometry and copy geometry pairs. As a result, I propose utilizing this efficient method in Casting Design models, where all dimensions are assumed to form the desired shape.
