Compression Clothes Hanger

Compression Clothes Hanger

I've had a wooden beam laying around and an unused space in my bedroom, so I decided to make a compression clothes hanger. To install this thing you will need two-sided duct tape and a 39mm wrench. If you don't have such a big wrench, you can print the wrench file, it will do the job. Stick double-sided tape between the hanger and the wall, then unscrew the nut until the hanger is fixed in place. Since I used PLA, it was deforming after some time under the compressions, so I was tightening the bolt once a week. After 3-4 weeks the deformation stopped and it's been more than a year since installation now and the hanger works fine. ATTENTION: The bolt and the nut might fit work properly on your printer, so it's best to print a few testing nuts with different scaling to see if they fit. After you've found the correct scaling, print the full-size nut with the same scaling.
