Compression Bolt & Nut

Compression Bolt & Nut

UPDATE: I've added a solid version of the compression bolt. This project turned out well, even if I do say so myself. The bolt was originally part of a gas dispersion unit that required a tube to protrude from the top while applying pressure to the lid to secure it onto the gasket. Unfortunately, I'm unsure of the pitch and thread size I used, but I remember making it large enough to achieve the necessary compression. This design may be printable without support, however, I used support which proved annoying to remove and required working the nut over the entire thread, essentially cutting a clean thread. Once done, it was a really good fit with plenty of holding pressure on the thread.
