Compressed air turbine

Compressed air turbine

This is a straightforward turbine for compressed air designed for experimentation purposes. I have developed two models, and you can view the first one through the pictures provided. The axle is a 10mm diameter metal rod that I machined down to an 8mm diameter on a lathe. However, you can substitute this with a threaded rod of similar size if needed. For bearings, I employed the 608Z model (with a diameter of 22mm, a hole of 8mm, and a thickness of 7mm). The assembly process is clearly illustrated in the accompanying pictures. This turbine operates effectively and reaches high speeds; however, at an air pressure of 8bar, the grease within the bearings can be pushed out. It's crucial to ensure that the housing is assembled with precise tightness to prevent the air from escaping and dispersing excessively. The turbine was manufactured using PET-G material with a resolution of 0.2mm.
