Compressed air, a fundamental component of cement production, is explored in this series. The first installment focuses on key processes: stacking and reclaiming limestone and shale, while also highlighting the importance of raw mill hoppers and additives. Additionally, the transportation of raw materials to the raw mill is discussed, as well as homogenization storage and kiln feed preparation. The cyclone preheater and its role in the cement-making process are also examined, along with the crucial kiln operation. Further steps include clinker cooling and electrostatic precipitator functioning, followed by clinker storage and transportation to their final destinations.
