This is a compact, fully-functional air-powered engine. Its length without the flywheel measures 55mm, while its width comes in at about 45mm (including the axle). The engine can operate efficiently on very low pressures - simply blowing into the inlet will get it spinning. However, at higher pressure levels, it can produce a small amount of power but may disintegrate if not carefully assembled with glue. With optimal tweaking, the engine can run without a flywheel. To ensure proper operation, the cam timing should be set slightly less than 90 degrees. At the top of its stroke, the piston requires the cam to lag behind by approximately 85 degrees - precisely at this moment, the valve should open. After printing, some minor sanding is required to guarantee that all parts fit together with minimal friction. Petroleum jelly (also known as Vaseline) can be used both as a lubricant and to enhance the seal on the valve and piston.
