compressed air engine
thingiverse
this is a engine ive been developing for a while. this thing is optimised to run on very low pressures and if built corrrectly it can reach quite high rpms with only your lungs but the head has a built in compressor fitting wich fits most normal compressor hoses. hardware: -2x 6mm bb´s (preferrably plastic) -1x 22mm x 7mm x 8mm bearing (has to be cleaned until spins VERY freely) -2x 1.4mm rods -1x 2.5mm roughly 11mm long metal rod -2x 7mm rubber O rings -some superglue notes and tips for assembly: make sure that the piston moves freely in the cylinder via drilling the cylinder with a 12mm drill bit THE CYLINDER BORE AND PISTON ARE THE SAME SIZE. make sure that the crank doesn't go into the bearing easily those parts shouldn't be slip fit and should require moderate force to go togheter if the crank slides into the bearing without any tools use superglue to glue the crank to the bearing. mkae sure that the crank pin stays in the crank with superglue or if you dont feel the need for any then consider this optional. make sure that the valve lifters move VERY freely in their holes so that they falll out with gravity same for the piston. once the engine is assembled DO NOT USE A N Y LUBRICANT it will only make the engine only run at way higher pressures and it reduces the rpm. after assembly it should run off of about 1-5psi but for increased rpm it can run waay higher pressures without issues
