Compound Slide Drive Adapter for Weiss WBL250F
thingiverse
I was using the compound slide of my lathe to turn a taper that required numerous very light cuts. Winding the slide back and forth manually became a bit tiresome. It was also difficult to be consistent with the feed rate. I decided to 3D print an adapter that I could attach to a small variable speed drill/screwdriver. It consists of two parts. 1ea 1/4-20 bolt, 1 3/4" Long. Length is not critical. 1ea 3D printed adapter. Set the drill clutch to the lowest setting that will move the slide.
