Compound bow cable slide

Compound bow cable slide

thingiverse

This is a custom-built cable slide tailored specifically to meet the requirements of a compound bow enthusiast. The intricately designed hole ensures that this part can be produced effortlessly without the need for any auxiliary materials, maintaining exceptional stability throughout the process. Upon completion of printing, a precise drill operation must be conducted to accommodate the slider's aperture with the same diameter as your cable guards - my own measures 9.5 mm in circumference. Similarly, attention to detail is necessary while shaping both cable trench openings so they seamlessly integrate with the corresponding cables, which are designed to snugly fit with diameters ranging from 3.5 mm and above. As a matter of course, proceed with utmost care during the drilling process. Once printing and drilling have been successfully executed, consider immersing this part in acetone for a brief duration to refine its texture. Details surrounding the printing requirements are as follows: a moderate layer height of 0.3 mm is highly recommended; employ full infill for added structural integrity, opt against any form of support material during production, and refrain from scaling down or up.
