Component Organisers
thingiverse
These little compartmentalized boxes are perfect for storing small parts like surface-mount electronic components in an organized way. They have designated spaces for jotting down numbers and labels, making it easy to identify what's inside each box. I've found them to be incredibly useful with my manual pick-and-place workstation, which is also available on Thingiverse. I created these boxes a while back and always wanted to take the next step by learning OpenSCAD and making them parametric, but unfortunately, I never had the time until now. One thing that's missing from these designs is a lid concept that would allow each compartment to be emptied separately by tilting the entire unit. This feature would make handling leftover SMD components much simpler. "V2" is the updated version with larger compartments, while the "wings" design features additional "wings" for easier raftless printing - I'm not sure if I actually tried using them or not.
