Component drawer rack. (modules)
thingiverse
Hello everyone, I'm excited to share my first upload with you all. Please bear with me as I work out any kinks. For my hobby, I needed a large number of small drawers to organize and store my components efficiently. After researching multiple designs, I found that most were lacking due to their use of vase mode or excessive filament usage. That's why I redesigned this set to create a stronger and more efficient solution. The rack features 15 drawers (3 wide x 5 high) with dimensions of 192 x 165mm. Multiple blocks can be glued together using superglue gel for added convenience. I also revised the design of the drawers, incorporating Jahislove's idea of adding a bezel to facilitate easy sliding in. Each drawer consists of six printed pieces and can be pulled out easily without a lock. The dimensions of each drawer are 60x85x30mm. To make assembly easier, I've included a small single-row rack that can be glued on top. The three STL files (drawer, rack, and top rack) are uploaded along with my optimized G-code for maximum performance. If you choose to use the supplied G-code, please note the following print settings: 0.5mm nozzle, 0.3mm layer height, overall double-wall construction for added rigidity and durability. The drawers have only two bottom layers to save filament and time, without compromising on speed. Average printing speeds of 60mm/s can be adjusted as needed. I hope this design proves useful for everyone, saving a significant amount of money compared to original drawers. Feel free to customize colors and total size to suit your needs.
