Please find the original Instructable post at http://www.instructables.com/id/Compliant-Prosthetic-Hand-With-Sensorimotor-Contro/. This design is for a right-hand prosthetic, but you can easily download and modify it to create a left-hand version using the same instructions. For creating the soft finger and palm parts, you'll need to make silicone casts and molds, and the STL files are available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1582119. **Print Settings** I used my Ultimaker 2 printer for this project, with the following settings: * Printer Brand: Ultimaker * Printer Model: Ultimaker 2 * Rafts: Yes * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.1mm * Infill: 100% **Notes** I printed the main structure parts using PLA and was really pleased with the metal gray color they produced. For the STL file labeled "SemiFlex", I used SemiFlex filament to achieve the desired flexibility. I chose a transparent color for all the compliant parts, and used my Makerbot Replicator 2X printer to print them. For more detailed settings information, please refer to the pictures below. **How I Designed This** To create this design, I started by researching and experimenting with different materials and techniques until I came up with a functional and comfortable prosthetic hand. The SemiFlex settings are crucial for achieving the right level of flexibility in the compliant parts. **SemiFlex Settings** I customized the settings to achieve the desired level of flexibility and comfort. You can adjust these settings to suit your needs and preferences.
