I came up with an idea for a customizable organizer made from PVC and brackets. I liked the look and function of Eagleknot's version but needed more configurability. To achieve this, I redesigned the brackets using their original design as a reference. In the process of remaking these brackets, I fixed symmetry issues and created a tighter fit on 1/2 inch schedule 40 PVC pipes without the need for tape. I've included basic bottom, middle, and top brackets in low shelf and high shelf styles because these are the most common use cases. The low shelf is based on the original design and will hold the shelf in place. The high shelf is designed for a 4mm shelf to sit (roughly) flush with the top of the bracket connectors. For advanced users, I broke out each component so it can be combined into whatever shape you need. These components can be combined in slicers or mesh editors. In slicers, this would generally be the same process as used for multi-material prints but simply adding the bodies together instead of selecting a particular filament. Many combinations are redundant, but it makes assembly easier if you have any orientation you want to start with. There are also loose fit (original) and tight fit components. The loose fit version includes basic bracket combinations. The tight fit components will likely need sanding or heat to fit PVC pipes. ### Components - Orientation naming - a - top - b - bottom - c - back (north) - d - front (south) - e - right (east) - f - left (west) - Cores Central part where other components connect. The through core allows one pipe to pass through the center. The foot is meant to be glued and not combined in slicing. - Connectors Connects a single PVC pipe. Anchored variants are available for top and bottom with screw holes on all four sides. - Caps Fills the space where PVC pipes set into cores for printability and looks. Detailed caps are also available for those who like the look. - Shelves Two connectors with a horizontal shelf between them. Low shelves hold sheets in slots, while high shelves require screws to hold them in place. Notches fill the slots on the outside of shelves for strength, printability, and looks.
