Totally reengineered Prusa Hephestos Y-axis utilizing SFU1204 ballscrew with nut, paired with Hiwin HG15/HG15R rail guides featuring high-performance leaner bearings. The printing area above the Y-axis spans an impressive 294mm. A laser-cut frame boasting 3mm stability is still employed, comprising two distinct parts fabricated using a precision bend machine. This revised design does not incorporate any support for the stepper motor in this initial sketch.
