This is my attempt to design and build a Completely Printed CNC out of PLA. No screws, no glue, no ball-bearings and no metal (apart from the obvious ones like motor and electronics). I have documented the whole process in the following two YouTube videos, so please find further information there. S01E01(W) – CPCNC:https://youtu.be/u16y6eQhKrs S01E02(W) – CPCNC: https://youtu.be/rpDLDxApvio The non-plastic parts I used are: 1x Arduino Uno Clone 1x CNC Shield V3.0 for Arduino Uno 4x A4988 stepper motor controller 2x Mitsumi stepper motor for Y-axis: M49SP-3KA 2x Mitsumi stepper motor for X and Z-axis: M42SP-5K 3x ventilator from old printers with: 60mmx60mm side length 6x endstop microswitch: 20mmx10.5mmx6mm 1x spindle motor with outer diameter (incl. that flat sheet metal bracket): 38mm 1x speed controller for spindle
