Video of the finished bearing: https://www.instagram.com/p/BPA0LYlDdlO/?taken-by=mivia.dk I created my own custom ball bearings for my filament rolls after experimenting with various details. The result is this design, which prints without additional support structures. Simply snap off the excess material after printing. If your printer lacks precision, the tolerances may be too low for this print, causing balls to become stuck on the bearing sides. Outer diameter: 54mm Inner diameter: fits a 22mm rod Print Settings Printer: XYZprinting da Vinci 1.0 PRO 3-in-1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height Infill: 20% Notes: Do NOT print with support. The print is prepared with cones underneath each ball that snap off easily after completion. Using a different layer height may lead to problems with the connection between ball and cone being too strong and not snapping off.
