NEW Complete Aircraft https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2337232 Updated version of this wing is available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2078106. This aircraft features a complete Clark-Y airfoil wing designed for simple high-wing trainers. The design concept is inspired by 3D Lab Print's innovative ideas, and it will eventually be used on an aircraft with a 1133mm span, including 80mm center section and 3mm tips. The fuselage is currently in development, and I will post the design once I have completed some test prints. The "ugly" stick, which will be mostly 3D printed, is also in progress. Servo mounts and control horns are not yet included, but I will update the files as soon as they become available. To print this wing, I recommend using Slic3r with 100% infill, one perimeter, no top or bottom layers, and no supports. This configuration has worked well on my Prusa i3 with PLA, a .35mm nozzle tip. I have not printed the complete wing yet, but I have uploaded my original 123D design files and a complete set of STL files for reference. For more information and test results, please visit http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1994231. To print the wing tips and ailerons, follow these instructions: * Wing tips are simple flat plates. * Ailerons can be printed with either one or two perimeters and 20% honeycomb infill. The software used for this design includes 123D Design and Inkscape.
