"Complaint Button" is a simple automata designed to discourage complaining by its users. Each time the button is pressed, it reinforces the unofficial "no complaining in my office" rule with a forceful yet whimsical touch. This model is not suitable for young people due to its design and functionality. The idea for Complaint Button originated when I visited the Paul Boyer Museum of Animated Carvings with my wife. Mr. Boyer has created stunning and complex automata, but what caught my attention was a simple automata sitting on the counter by the entrance. The button located on top was inviting anyone to press it, so I did, and that's why I designed Complaint Button. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the museum and highly recommend taking the detour north of I-70 in Kansas to visit this small yet wonderful museum showcasing Mr. Boyer's exceptional craftsmanship. As usual, I might have forgotten some files or made other mistakes, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I make plenty of errors. Complaint Button was designed using Autodesk Fusion 360 and sliced with Cura 3.3.1. It was printed in PLA on both an Ultimaker 2+ Extended and an Ultimaker 3 Extended.
