Competition rocket tower launcher
thingiverse
I created a spare tower launcher for 40mm FAI rockets. It can be used independently or paired with a piston. Print Settings: Printer: GEEETech I3 PRO B Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 35% Notes: Use brim for all parts. Print the tension device and tent peg three times. You will also need a 10mm thread drill, and three aluminum tubes (1m or 1.2m long) with a diameter of 15mm and walls that are 1.5mm thick. Additionally, you'll require five meters of 1.8mm rope. Post-Printing: Glue the tubes to both the top and bottom parts using epoxy glue. Attach the rope to the top part, as well as the tension device. You're now ready to use the tower for launching. If you choose to pair it with a piston launcher, simply drill an M10 thread. Alternatively, if you don't have a piston, you can print the igniter holder (I recommend covering it with aluminum tape) and insert it into the hole.
