For a full project description, visit https://www.tomo.love/compass

This print-in-place compass offers major improvements over a standard compass: it traces a full circle without slipping, shows the angle and radius as it rotates, and can be retrieved from a backpack without jabbing.

A few other neat features:

○ Print-in-place ball bearings allow the body to rotate freely like a fidget spinner
○ The position of the gripper can be changed with a pinch
○ The gripper can handle crayons, markers, and more
○ The hub hole allows you to center a circle about a point

To get a snug fit on narrower pencils, you may need to add a few turns of duct tape to the bottom of the pencil.
