A thoughtful gift that I'm crafting for my wife, a custom compass rose wall decoration inspired by the Amazon items she's been eyeing for a while now. She had been waiting patiently, so I decided to take on the challenge. Just completed the design in Fusion 360 and will update it once I've successfully printed and assembled it. The model is divided into eight parts, allowing me to print each piece on my trusty Prusa printer. When fully assembled, the decoration measures over 13 inches tall and wide. Each of the individual components features one or two precisely placed 2mm holes that will be used in conjunction with a 1cm long filament "pin" to ensure accurate alignment during assembly. The design also incorporates subtle indents, perfectly sized for securing 10mm rhinestones in place.
