On my way home from the store and for no good reason I stopped at a yard sale and found this little beauty for $20 https://www.plastimo.com/en/compas-offshore-12579.html I dont have a boat but figured I could make something cool out of it. So I bought these blue LED's https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LR6PQK8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 and put 3 in the upper hood cover (by folding them over on themselves and using CA glue), then printed the base in clear PLA, painted the outside in matte black, then used a knife to scrape the paint of the circles that protrude from the bottom, then touched those up with a piece of sandpaper, then hotglued the led strip inside and wired it all up to an old USB cable.
