This is a replica of the Cessan C172SP compass for the Cessna C 172 Home Cockpit. To animate the movement, I utilized a 24BJY48 stepper motor in conjunction with an Arduino Mega. Inside the frame, there's a slot designed to accommodate a white LED that measures 5mm in diameter. For the rear cover, I've created two distinct versions: one featuring a socket for the stepper motor controller, ideal for housing the board within the compass; and another without this socket, perfect for placing the controller outside the compass if desired.
