Compartmented box (lasercut)
thingiverse
Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to share with you my latest creation - a sleek plywood box precision-cut by a lasercut machine. The assembly process is remarkably straightforward, although it's possible that a bit of glue might be necessary to hold everything together snugly. I designed this box using CATIA V5 (R27) software, initially intended for storing all my seeds. As an added bonus, I also created one to organize my tea collection! The model was optimized for 3mm plywood and features a clever design that eliminates any excess play. The laser-cut details provide just the right amount of flexibility for easy assembly. I'm eager to hear your thoughts on this design - feel free to share any feedback or suggestions! UPDATE: I've since uploaded a revised version (V2) with a more streamlined DXF file, featuring fewer cuts and a refined lid design that fits perfectly. The updated box boasts improved organization and a seamless assembly experience.
