Companion of Diana III at the Louvre, Paris, France

Rene Fremin played a significant role in shaping the Companions of Diana group at Marly's garden, leaving behind an incredibly vibrant statue (initially signed in 1717 and now proudly displayed at the Louvre). The nymph abruptly turns her head away while moving forward with a sense of urgency, engaging in a playful debate with the extremely energetic greyhound standing beside her. As she gazes downward, a subtle smile begins to form on her face - a classic Fremin touch that adds depth to the entire scene. Meanwhile, the hound instinctively arches its back in anticipation, its forepaws firmly planted on the nymph's bow. The overall atmosphere is infused with an unmistakable sense of vitality.
