My kids are obsessed with the portal series and asked if I could create a printed companion cube for them. To make this project come together, start by printing two base parts joined at their mid-sections. Once you have these parts printed, use contact glue to assemble the cube's body. When it comes time to add some color, the mask is essential for painting those heart symbols. Keep in mind that your printer's tolerances may vary, so consider printing a few different mask versions with varying magnifications - I found 1.03 to be the sweet spot.
