Printing took about eight hours, using Prusament PETG with adaptive slicing from PrusaSlicer and layer heights between .15 and .4 mm. I chose Prusament PETG since I've been working with it a lot lately, but the product page clearly states that it's not recommended for small parts due to poor bridging characteristics. Despite this, the print turned out okay. To improve the outcome, I plan to reduce the overhang on the model and make printing easier. I added a Companion Cube Coin Bank design, incorporating a Mechanicus logo that caught my eye. Realizing how simple it would be to merge different designs, I started working on a Companicus Cube project, combining elements from other people's work. Initially, I attempted to use DSM for this task but found MatterControl more suitable for quick modifications. As I become more comfortable with CAD software, I'm planning to post some of my original creations. So far, most of my projects are one-off designs aimed at mastering the basics. In the works is Snake's cigarette holder from MGS4, which still needs refinement. For now, I'll continue experimenting with merging different designs whenever inspiration strikes. I'd like to express gratitude to the original designers for their work; if you haven't already, be sure to show them some appreciation!
