CompactFlash reader adapter to std IDE hdd size
thingiverse
Today I set out to install a CompactFlash card and an affordable adapter to IDE into my old laptop as a hard drive replacement, but it was impossible to get it into position as the original hard drive slides into a hole and makes electrical contact in its deepest point. The only solution I found - or excuse, really - was to design my own adapter. Well, here it is, and I'm sharing it with you in case you might need such a solution. It requires some adhesive to keep the adapter in place, but the CompactFlash card can be removed and replaced without disassembling the entire thing. The g-code is for 1.75mm filament, and I added some brim to it as it tends to slide while being printed. Thanks!
