CompactFlash reader adapter to std IDE hdd size
cults3d
I was determined to install a compact flash card and an inexpensive adapter that converts IDE into an old laptop, making it possible to replace the hard drive, but it was impossible to get it into position because the original hard drive slides into a hole and makes electrical contact when it's in its deepest position. The only solution I found was to design my own adapter. Here it is, and I'm sharing it with you in case you might need such a solution. This custom-made adapter needs some adhesive to keep it in place, but the compact flash card can be easily removed and replaced without having to disassemble the entire thing. The g-code is for 1.75 millimeters, and I added some brim to it because it tends to slide while being printed. Thanks!
