Compact 4WD Robot Platform Controlled by Smartphone or WiFi/BLE Device A highly versatile and compact 4WD robot platform can be easily controlled using a smartphone or any other WiFi/BLE enabled device. All the technical details, including electronic descriptions and assembly instructions, are available on the Hackaday project page at https://hackaday.io/project/25430-mini-wifible-4wd-robot-platform. The entire mechanical structure of this robot platform is built using 3D printing technology, with axles, ball bearings, and nuts and bolts being the only components not produced in-house. The gears are designed to be self-fixing due to their unique fish bone structure, which allows for easy adjustments on the fly. To enhance the durability of the wheels, they are printed using a dual extrusion printer with a soft PLA outer layer and an ABS inner part.
