Compact SKR mini e3 board case for 40xx aluminum extrusion
thingiverse
During upgrade of AM8, I found that there are not that much board case made for SKR mini e3 in Thingiverse. So, I made my own. This case can be attached to any 4020 aluminum extrusion profiles. Due to possible layershifting issues by overheated TMC2209, this case has a hole for 4010 DC fan and ventilation hole. Parts you need to assemble this case are like below: - M4 square nuts or M4 t-nuts x 4 EA - M4-10 Hex bolts x 4 EA - M3-10 Hex bolts x 9 EA - M3-5 Hex bolts x 5 EA - M3 Hex nuts x 9 EA - 4010 DC Fan (Voltage depends on your system) x 1 EA This case is compact as shown on image. So, you should make an effort about 'clean' wiring as possible. To prevent short circuit by to detached nuts, make sure to power down the system before disassembling the case and if possible, glue hex nuts on insert holes using adhesive. For safety of your system, I also recommend to add mesh on ventilation holes as shown. I also upload .step files so that you can draw customized logos or texts on it. Then, I hope you enjoy fixing/upgrading your printer.
