Compact, lightweight case for Ublox 6M gps in 35mm size
thingiverse
This is a sturdy lightweight case for the Ublox 6M GPS module, 35mm board size, which I purchased from Witespy along with the compass. The case secures tightly when clipped closed, but attaching adhesive or tape would probably ensure it remains securely shut, even if your flying skills leave much to be desired - as is the case for me since I use it on a quadcopter. The design is optimized for connecting external wires, allowing users to mount the GPS module on a stalk and wind the wires neatly around it before securing them down to the quadcopter's controller board. I also designed some versatile stalk mounts that can be used to place this assembly at a safe distance from other electronics on your quad. However, these mounts have yet to be tested or printed - fingers crossed they work seamlessly. A straightforward approach would involve applying adhesive or double-sided foam tape directly onto the underside of the case and using them as is, or sticking to alternative methods such as velcro for better adjustability.
