Compact Fursuit Head Dryer
thingiverse
This is a compact device designed to dry out fursuit heads or other similar masks. The fursuit head fits perfectly over the supports in the center of the unit, and a fan located underneath circulates air through it effectively. This device has been carefully designed with travel in mind, allowing it to fold up for easy transportation and is built to be fairly durable. A drilling guide is provided in the project files, which can be printed out to help locate the mounting holes for the fan easily. The example was made using a drill and jigsaw, but it could also be fabricated using hand tools if that's all that's available. If you have access to one, a 3 1/2" hole saw would be an extremely easy way of cutting the hole for the fan. Materials Needed: * 1/4" or 6mm plywood cut to 9" x 13" (preferably two sides good furniture ply) * A 92mm fan of your choosing (it's recommended to use a computer case fan) * M4 screws suitable for your fan * (Optional) A fan grill for the underside of your fan * Four 1/4" x 1 1/2 Clevis pins (recommended) or four 1/4" x 1 1/2 bolts or four M6 bolts * Nuts / R pins for the above * Wood screws suitable for the legs (~3mm minor dia) x 1/2"
